Angela Maiorano, RN, BSN, JD

Angela Maiorano brings more than 30 years of combined healthcare and medical-legal experience to the firm, offering a rare dual perspective that proves invaluable in complex birth injury and medical malpractice cases. As both a Registered Nurse and attorney, she bridges the gap between clinical realities and legal strategy in ways few professionals can.

Before transitioning to medical-legal consulting, Angela spent years on the frontlines of high-risk obstetrics and postpartum care at University of Maryland – St. Joseph’s Medical Center, where she managed critical situations including preeclampsia, postpartum hemorrhage, neonatal complications, and high-risk maternal conditions. She also served at Johns Hopkins University’s Infertility/IVF Center and in the trauma unit at University of Maryland’s Shock Trauma Center.

In her current role, Angela conducts meticulous medical record reviews, identifies deviations from accepted standards of care, prepares detailed timelines and medical chronologies, and collaborates with expert witnesses to build compelling cases. She supports case development from initial intake through litigation, serving as a vital liaison between attorneys, healthcare providers, and clients.
